What is the Law of Attraction?

The Law of Attraction is the capability of anyone regardless of nationality, religious belief, or age to attract whatever we are focusing on to come into our lives. We are all susceptible to the Law that governs the Universe, including the Law of Attraction.

I say it all the time; your words and thoughts are your reality! The Law of attraction uses the power of our mind to express our thoughts and materialise them into our reality. Eventually, all your thoughts turn into reality. So if you focus on negative things, you will attract negativity towards you similarly if you focus on positive thoughts and feelings, you will attract exactly that to you.

I truly believe the Universe is such a beautiful place. I think this because the Law of Attraction dictates that whatever you imagine and hold in your thoughts/mind's eye is attainable. There is little if any people who understand the impact practicing the Law of Attraction can have on your life.

Regardless of whether we are doing it knowingly or not; each second of our existence, we are sending our emotions and thoughts out into the Universe. Just like a human magnet, we are attracting what we put out there.

How do you use the Law of Attraction?

Once you have realised all the infinite possibilities life has to offer us, we can acknowledge that we are the artists of our own lives. Essentially all we are doing is creating an image in our minds of how we intend to have our life look. Then we take the actions needed to make this a reality.

What if you don't like the image in your mind?

Simple. Change it!

Life is like a blank canvas of many possibilities; you are in control of what the finished masterpiece looks, keep changing it until you are content. There are no catches to the Law of Attraction; all laws of nature are perfect. It does not matter what you want to achieve in your life, material-wise or not if you focus on this in your mind's eye; you will make it happen.

What are the benefits of using the Law of Attraction?

Firstly, if you are thinking positive thoughts, they naturally grow more powerful. As a result of this, you are knowingly increasing the likeliness of your fulfilling your ambitions. You spend more time focusing on being optimistic, so you're giving that energy out to the Universe. What you give out you will receive!

Since we attract things we focus on more, you cut out negativity because you're focusing on your wants instead. Are you continuously complaining about your bad luck? Well, bad luck is going to keep coming if that's where you're focusing your thoughts.

How to practice the Law of Attraction

1. Make lists.

My first try with the Law of Attraction revolved around lists, writing them, checking them off, and putting things into action. This is not your average to-do list. I recommend that you write down everything you genuinely want, everything from the small things (" I want to join the gym") to the bigger things ("I want to open my own business").

To make this list as effective as possible, break down each of these goals into bite-sized pieces. Write what it takes to get it done and tick things off as you get it done. You will start to notice that you can tick things off pretty quickly with minimal effort on your behalf.

2. Verbalise what you want.

Working your objectives into conversation with those you trust and love will kick your brain into gear to make them a reality. It will also give friends or family a chance to help you out.

Keywords here are "those you trust and love." Only share your ambitions and goals with those you trust to protect yourself from other people's negative vibrations and the evil eye.

3. Sit and visualise what you want.

Visualising your goals can be done alongside meditation or alone. Sit and focus on what you want, for example, "I want to secure a graduate role with a top firm in London." Focus and think about how you already have this role; how does it make you feel? Who do you share this news with first? How do you react? Imagine the scenario fully, focus on your five senses, hear, see, touch, taste, smell.

The more you get used to imagining what you want in life, the more likely these things will become your reality. Focus your thoughts on what you want and then envision it.
